To help her in that new role she undertook the Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Financial Planning, which she completed in November 2009.

She continued to gain a great deal of hands-on knowledge and experience, while continuing with her exams to gain a Diploma in Financial Planning in May 2014.
Julie said: “Wishing to progress further in my career and gain more experience, I was fortunate enough to be offered a position with Acumen, which will enable me to take the next step. I will be working as a Paraplanner assisting the Advisers to produce the relevant research, recommendations and reports for our clients.
I am looking forward to being part of a successful, growing company and providing an excellent service to our clients. It is also an excellent opportunity to broaden my knowledge and gain more experience to develop my career,
