After graduating from Sheffield University in 1997, I joined Barclays Bank Plc. I worked my way through a number of different roles before attaining the position of Financial Planning Manager, advising clients on Investment, Pensions, and Protection, in the West Lancashire area. I moved into the independent world in 2004, working as an adviser for Potter and Minnis Ltd, before joining Acumen in 2009.
Having been with Acumen since 2009, I have taken pride in helping the company go from strength to strength, based on the underlying ethos of providing quality advice in a clear and straightforward manner. My belief in the business has resulted in me becoming a partner in the firm and I am hugely proud of the quality team we have put together and the reputation we have established in the industry.
Financial Planning can seem a daunting and complex subject with ever-changing regulations and ever-increasing options. It is my aim to steer clients through the process, giving them a clear and understandable solution to fit their individual needs. It is important to acknowledge that financial planning is not something that can be covered in one meeting.
My aim is to provide help and ongoing advice to clients throughout their entire financial journey, whatever their circumstances. I offer advice over a wide range of areas, including Investments, Pensions, and Protection, with a lot of my time spent with company directors on more complex pension planning cases.
I live in Birkdale with my wife Katie and two young boys, Harry and Freddie, with whom I spend as much time as I possibly can (usually in the car taxiing them around!). In the limited time between my taxi service, I am a lifelong supporter of Liverpool, golfer (play occasionally and badly!) and F1 fan.
