Meet Paula
I joined Acumen in 2014 as a member of the administration team at Acumen, I have over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working for Royal Insurance, Abbey Life and Scottish Provident in Liverpool and then a local Independent Financial Adviser.
I have gained a great deal of experience and knowledge during this time and currently hold the Life & Pension Financial Planning Certificate 1 & 2. I provide administration support to the Financial Advisers, working closely with Celia Evans.
My duties involve preparation of research and production of preliminary reports, obtaining illustrations, portfolio valuations, processing of new business and liaison with advisers and clients on a daily basis relating to investments, pensions and protection. In addition, I ensure I am kept up to date with compliance matters and current FCA legislation. Acumen is a great team to work with, especially with their flexibility and understanding when it comes to family commitments.
I live in Rufford with my husband Barry and my daughter and son, Lucy and Hugh. I enjoy baking, dressmaking and socialising with family and friends.
