After graduating in 1997 I started work with a large life assurance company in my hometown of York. Since then I’ve worked for a large wealth management company but primarily in small independent financial advice firms. I truly believe that smaller firms offer a more personable service and are able to tailor plans to a client’s specific individual needs, which in turn gives better outcomes.
I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. I have a broad depth of knowledge but specialise in investments, pensions and retirement planning. I take pride in explaining things in a no nonsense way and love to help clients reach their goals and life ambitions.
I grew up in York but moved to Liverpool in 2014. I live with my wife Katherine, and 3 young boys, Maxwell, Ellis and Dalton. When the weather is good, we enjoy days on the beach and cycle rides along the coast, failing that you’ll find us at a local soft-play centre or at home doing arts and crafts. I love music, food and travel. When I get the opportunity I like to meet with friends to have a drink and watch football, or if I’m feeling energetic I’ll put on my boots and head to the hills.
