It’s not long until Christmas now and Acumen are already on the festive countdown!

The team has been very busy, planning for the Christmas season and have discussed many topics from Christmas cards to charity work.

Do Christmas cards still have a place?

Our team has been talking about greetings cards and whether they still have a place for us in 2022. We talked to everyone, and have decided this year to go digital! Meaning we can save both paper and avoid potential postal issues.

It goes without saying that we want to wish all of our clients the very best for the Christmas period and for the New Year, so keep an eye out for our festive email!

Supporting our chosen charity this Christmas

This year we have also been working very closely with The Hive! We have been sponsoring The Hive, Wirral Youth Zone in Birkenhead since the beginning of the year. The Hive is really making a difference for young people in one of the most deprived areas of the North West.

Throughout 2022 Jon, Lucy and I have been more and more involved with what The Hive have been doing, joining over 70 other companies across the region in providing financial support for them.

Our “Bake off” competition raised a further £200 to go to this very good cause. Lucy Molina set up our own food bank and boxes of staple items together with Christmas treats. These will soon be taken across to The Hive by Lucy, who is heading up this initiative for us.

As Acumen are going digital this year, we have now allocated the Christmas card budget straight to The Hive’s Believe Christmas appeal.
